Adelakun is the Founder, the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of Adelas Management and Educational Solutions (AMES), a business consultancy based in Ibadan, Nigeria.

He obtained the Bachelor of Education (BEd) and the Master of Arts (MA) degrees in English from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He also had professional certificates in Business Negotiation (a Certified Negotiation Specialist, CNS) USA, and in Book Editing (a Certified Book Editor, CBE) Nigeria. He is a member of International Association of Professional Writers and Editors (IAPWE) USA.

He is a very learned and resource person. He is a trained teacher, a professional editor, writer, translator, project manager and consultant. He has written many secular and scholarly books for schools, learning institutions and businesses. He has contributed articles immensely to dailies and has also attended many conferences, seminars, workshops and training on educational planning/programs, business strategies and essentials of book editing.

He has worked with various organizations, and this fetched him additional responsibilities. He is a good manager and leader. He has been the Business Development Manager for Greater Vision Seminars and Conferences, Dubai, State Coordinator for Praise Consulting, Lagos, Nigeria, and Admission Counselor for Atlantic International University, USA. He has also worked as the Chairman, Career Guidance Committee and the Secretary to the Financial Budget and Planning Committee at Halleluyah Baptist Church, Ibadan, Nigeria.

He has a variety of experience in business and marketing strategies. He has coordinated some entrepreneurship programs on empowerment, poverty alleviation and investment in which many people were mobilized for series of training. He is also a marketer (sales, online, CPA, affiliate program) who has promoted many offers, products and services of many foreign and local companies. He has also participated in the sourcing and recruitment of prospects for clients and organizations.
